Everton are to play another friendly

Everton will face Irish side Bohemians in a friendly on Monday night.

The game offers the Blues a last chance to prepare for the Premier League season after this weekend's match with Spurs was postponed.

That game would have been the first of Everton's 2011/12 campaign but was called off after the unrest in London earlier this week.

Dublin-based Bohemians compete in the League of Ireland and are currently mid-season.

David Moyes is set to take his first team squad across the Irish Sea, with the match fitness of his senior players key ahead of the game against QPR next Saturday.

The game will take place at the 3,000-capacity Dalymount Park, kicking off at 7.45pm.

Tickets are €15 for adults and €7 for Under-12s.

They are available from The Members Bar at the stadium from 8pm - 10pm on Friday evening and from 12noon-10pm on Saturday and Sunday (personal callers only).

They will also be available from the Bohemians ticket office on Monday from 9am - 3pm (personal callers only).

Any remaining unsold tickets will be available on the turnstiles on the night.

What kind of squad do you reckon they'll put out? I think we should maybe err on the side of caution and play more ressies than first team players, we can't risk any injuries so close to the start of the season.

Start with the team that is gonna start against QPR and see how it goes.

Can't worry about injuries - Remember QPR's first 11 have already had 90 mins of competitive football together.

I'd rather see the team we plan to go with against QPR. We should be playing already so its pointless using reserves, better to just get the first team playing together properly.

It should be the main 1st team, there footballers, they cant be wrapped up in cotton wool all the time, theyve got to play at some point an injury can occur at any time, its just part of the game

I remember Richard Wright getting injured in a pre- match warm up away to Chelsea. He fell over a keep out the goal mouth sign. He also damaged his shoulder falling out his attic

I'd say Bohemians will be playing their reserve team, but it should be a competitive game all the same. Cant wait to go see it.

10mins from my house so may go to it. Never been to Dalymount Park though before. Anyone know which stand the members bar is in? Its a small stadium anyway, I'd say I'd find it handy enough, just would save me time if I knew exactly where it was.

Story Pearse, I'm 10 mins from there myself. There are three bars located under the Jodi Stand at Dalymount Park. (Members Bar is located there)

Cheers, found it. Even though I pass Dalymount Park everyday going to work I've never been in and around it. Got my tickets. Funny thing was the barman selling them was wearing a Liverpool jersey. Couldn't help but chuckle a little. Ah sure, looking forward to it now and hope a few of the regulars play.

It should be most of the first team.

No point arranging a high profile match and playing ressies.

Would love to see Gueye start on the left

Yeah hope so too. I'm actually sort of glad that the likes of Arteta, Fellaini and Coleman aren't fit or fully fit. Will give some of those who've been out in the cold a chance to show what they can do. They could be just as good or even better than those they're replacing. Only way we'll find out is if they play. Hope Barkley plays as well.
