        It cant come soon enough, we need to sign a few players, a striker the priority in the Jan window.  If Moyes not playing Heitinga, we must sell him too.  Was reading Finch Farm is costing loads!!!  Why do we always mess up with these things??  Also what happening with new store and everton cafe and lounges that were going to be built at the back of the park end???  Another mess, bad planning as usual.   

         The men in the boardroom need to get their fingers out and sort out these disasters.  We are spending our hard earned money following the boys and David Moyes everywhere.  Everton are the peoples club, us EVERTONIANS DESERVE BETTER.  All we hear is we are broke!!!!

    We got Dennis, Vellios, Saha, Gueye and *cough* vic....

       Sorry but how many goals have our strikers got?  Vellios 1, Gueye 0, Victor 1 and he is always injured unfortunately, Saha 0.   Love Louis Saha but he has been very poor so far this season, doesnt look fit. Vellios is a good prospect but nowhere ready to start games, not experienced enough.

    But also, our strikers have not been played enough.
    If our strikers got game time, I think they (Vellios, guyey, dennis) could come up trumps.

    I don't know what you are hoping for....maybe for us to buy a 20 goal a season striker? Not going to happen, we aint got that kind of cash.

    And please, If you say the money from the sales in the summer, If that gets spent on 1 striker, people are going to moan we are in debt.
    Then again, If that money goes towards clearing debt, people are going to moan we have no ££ for players....

    People are fickle like that and can't please most.

    I know, where you are coming from, but I do think a club of our size should be able to spend 5m to 10 mill on a striker, Shane Long would have been good for us, so pacy and good finisher. Im just worried, our squad is small and you need goals to win games. In all honesty do you think our strikers are good enough?? Saha is class, but he has been poor so far this season and I have been to all our games.

    Guyey is very talented and hopefully he and Dennis get run outs soon. We all know our financial situation, but I do think in Jan we need to put the pennies together and get someone.

    Yes, I do think they are good enough (baa Vic. Saha is just a crock who can't play more than 3 games in a row.....), but aye, I think Vellios is good enough, Gueye has shown talent last seasons run of games he played. Dennis has a good track record.

    What they need is A) Game time, and B) to be played as 2 up front.
    Not this constant Cahill behind the striker all the time.

    Don't get me wrong, I love Cahill, but I just think he should be used more as a super sub now....then our strikers got a good chance of playing 2 up top.

    Also, bare in mind that January is the worst time to buy....team's put epic inflated prices on their players.

    You right, we need to play two up front, especially at Goodison.  Tim is a legend not a striker really, keep him in midfield making them runs.  Osman and Coleman been quiet recently, they need to up their games too.

    I think in Jan we should try and off load Billy and Heitinga.


    Its obvious neither of them are going to get a lot of games and i think we should sign Onouha from Man City, he can play across the back 4 so would be good cover and we could get him for 3 million.

    I reckon at worst we could get 10million for Billy and Johnny so that leaves 7million for a striker.


    As its a bad time to buy though, i would prbs be tempted to look to loan somebody like Macheda off ManU, and then build next summer and get any business done early, We would have at least 15million to spend if we sold those 2 and money from last summer so IF we could get Drenthe signed up for nothing maybe look to Rodallega on a free as his contract is up, we could build another good solid squad for very little imo.

    I wanna see denis given a propa game, maybe start him against fulham, cant see starting him against chelsea for his first league game any use, start him against fulham see how he does, needs to bring on gueye abit more because i think he'd be alot more of a threat than coleman ( who i dont rate atall) and needs to give barkley more gametimes, havent seen him in the prem since he give away that pen against blackb urn

    yea Dennis and Gueye need some gametime but will be difficult for Dennis, the pace of the premiership but we have to unleash him.  Ps Macheda from united is very average so its better to keep Vellios as a sub.  Just hope we gan get a few loans in at Jan at least.

    We'll sign no one, we need the money more than the 5 mil rated player we could pick up for 10mil in the Jan window.

    Think we should play 4-4-1-1 with Gueye and Stracq against the weaker teams (more attacking) and play the same formation with Vellios playing in front of Barkley, Cahill or Ossy against the stronger teams (more defensive, especially with both Rodwell and fellaini in the centre). For our more attacking set-up we could also try Billy on the righ wing and keep using Coleman for our more defensive formation. That way, our younger players get to havde a decent run of games and gain valuable experience.

    Of course, if we were to ign someone, I'd say bringing in player or two to cover for either or both Baines and Drenthe wouldn't be unreasonable, if they were affordable. I say this, as Ossy is no left winger, and Billy isn't that great for us in that position.

    oh i wish,  Landon was brilliant when he was here, he fitted in perfect and is a star.  They wont be able to afford his wages, they couldnt sign him permanently because of his wages before!!!!!!!  We havnt replaced Pienaar either, the board are not in the real world!!!  Artetas money probably going to the banks, we will be lucky to sign someone on loan!!  sad isn't it for a massive club like ours......

      Ossie gives his all, but he is not a winger and he doesnt have pace.  Can be great when he on form but not doing it so far this season, only 1 game v villa.  We need to up it lots otherwise we going to get involved in a relegation mess all season....
