Posts: 2August 2011 Insua hasn't been given a squad number after they signed Jose Enrique, I know Baines is much much better, but it would be great cover if he ever got injured (touch wood). We literally have nobody if this happens, I think it'd be a good signing. Could we afford his wages?

Posts: 2August 2011 But with Coleman being out, if Baines was to get injured, Phil would probably already be playing right back? ... I just don't like that we have absolutely no cover at LB. A natural LB replacement. A bit like when Hibbo had to cover at CB, that's not good!

Posts: 8August 2011 If it wasn't for the fact he is a RS reject, I would snap him up straight away. Would be good competition with Baines.
However the embarassment of signing one of their rejects would be to much to live with. :-(
