No footy worth betting on today (so I believe) so sticking to the horses. Might do a KammyKazi bet but depends how much it's worth.

    10p Lucky 15:

    Chachamaidee 2-05 Newmarket
    Electra Star 2-50 York
    Power 3-10 Newmarket
    Swiss Spirit 3-25 York

    10p Lucky 15:

Strike Up The Band 2-20 York
    Samminder 2-35 Newmarket
    Beyond 3-50 Newmarket
    Internationaldebut 4-05 York

    20p Lucky 15:

    African Broadway 3-00 Chepstow
    Slightly Tanned 3-35 Chepstow
    Cue Card 4-10 Chepstow
    Domtaline 4-45 Chepstow

Some good racing there today so definitely worth a few bets. Also, over in Australia, the country's best horse, Black Caviar won its 14th race today, out of 14. Would love to see it go up against Frankel. Those of you who are really into your racing and know a bit about Aussie horses will know how awesome this match-up would be!

They had Mark Prescott on who trains TG and he just said it should run a big race. He also fancied another of his runners, made it his only charity bet, Memory Lane in the 4.40 at York. 11-1 this morning but since he flagged it up on Morning Line, it's now 6-1.

Just under £6 off that Chepstow 20p Patent, not bad, only £2 plus I found a few other slips I'd not cashed in so just under a tenner to pick up at the bookies.

    Thats alright mate :).

Prescott's ran like a drain in the big race, i thought Barney MCgrew was unlucky not to win at york, had a 10er e/w on that aswell as prescotts, Joburg beaten a neck but i had that e/w and Mccoy let me down on Eastlake, typical of him for me!

I laid St Helens on betfair for the rugby at 1.7 though so that covered the couple of losses on Prescotts and Eastlake.

Think i finished a few quid in front, so not a disaster :)

Nice one - Next weekend's racing's gonna be just as good I reckon, got some of the class horses running next week again (including Frankel) so might be focusing on the nags again, even with the footy being back but the Everton game and Liverpool/Mancs game are gonna be tough to predict (I won't back us to lose! Even if it's inevitable!) so debating whether to leave well alone.

im same as mate with us, so i just back us win and draw in a multiple if thats the case! shorter odds but at least im sticking by my team!

Looking forward to Frankel next weekend, i just wish they had ran it in 1 of the group1 6F races over the summer cos i think he could have looked even more special, he shows just amazing speed, been great to see him this summer, but they probs wont keep him in training next year :(

I hope they do, especially because the horse I mentioned earlier in the thread, Black Caviar, is due to come over next year for Royal Ascot, and I want to see those two go head-to-head!

Fingers crossed mate, racing needs things like that to draw the crowds in and get people interested in the sport imo like :)
