One thing I cannot understand

I cannot understand when people say that Bily hasn't been given a chance during his time here. He has had over 2 years to prove himself here and unfortunetly for him he hasn't been consistent enough. I have absolutely nothing against the lad, I think that he has bags of potential and I think he has scored some spectacular goals. But he is far too  inconsistent and he just doesn't look suited to this league.

I concur, and at the end of the day its what you do on the pitch when you get a chance that is a guide to the Manager, that certainly has not impressed Moysey, and obviously in training where you see him day in day out, and that is not working for him at present as he's only sometimes making the bench. Its down to him and full credit to him saying he wants to work to prove himself at Everton, but really time is against him, as even the youngsters are showing him how its done......

He would prefer to play central, and Moyes obviously doesnt see him there. There have been plenty of occasions when Moyes could have given him a chance in the middle and he doesnt. End of the line for me.

His favourite/preferred position is attacking midfielder.  He has only ever been played as a left mid.

    That is why.

He is a professional footballer and he should be able to play anywhere. Maybe he could do a bit better playing off the striker, but obviously DM doesn't want to use him there and he favours Cahill or Osman in that position. Maybe this is because he thinks that Cahill and Osman's link up play is better that Bily's, plus Osman and Cahill are much better in the air than Bily is.

    Nope, for obvious reasons.

DM does prefer to play other players in attacking midfield and therefore Billy hasn't been given a chance - Only occasional roles.

im sorry but 9mil, and were talking about his prefered position. Dont hear any other players moaning about their prefered position at the club and they are influential players, Coleman(right back), Cahill(behind the striker), Jagielka( played RB, CM, never complained), Osman ( CM ), Rodwell( CB ), Barkley( CM ), note ive only mentioned those who cost little, as i could say Fellaini, Heitinga, but like Billy they were more costly players who should be able to play anywhere......

When I say anywhere, I don't mean literately anywhere! I just think that if he plays on the wing or if he plays upfront he should be more than capable to do a job for his team. He played on the wing in Russia and he was signed as a winger, so why has he all of a sudden became an attacking midfielder? I do like Bily, and maybe he could do a bit better playing off the striker, but DM obviously doesn't see him as an attacking midfielder, probably for the reasons I have gave.

I dont think Bily has actually complained about being played out of position. I think its us fans that have complained. We've most of us looked at the youtube footage of him and seen him play for Russia, so we know where we think he should play.

To be fair to Bily, no matter what, he just gets on with his job. I respect Bily a lot, but I don't think he will be anything more than a squad player here.

He came as a winger and he said himself that he thinks he is a winger. Maybe he would do a bit better playing off the striker but DM obviously has his reservations.

    Haha!

My point is that he thinks that his best position is on the wing and people are a bit too quick in calling for him to play off the striker in my opinion.
