I agree that the result could have gone anyway irrespective of the sending off and most of us are really not that bothered about 3 points. Three unsavoury things happened in my opinion, the incorrect sending off, which you agree with, being the result. The referee made a big big mistake, Suarez dived and play acted, other RS players ran in and demonstrated with the ref demanding a sending off. If you cannot admit that Suarez dived and playacted then you are either deluded, naive or completely blinkered. All blues, most honest reds and all neutrals would agree with with my comments. You however don't, so end of story.........

This. I would actually have said if you hadn't gone down the 'Bitter BS' route, your opinion might have been a bit more welcomed. Not that any of us would have agreed with it, but I think your opinion lost any kind of respect (for want of a better word) with the 'Bitter BS' jibe.
Of course, it wasn't just the sending off that affected the result, but it affected it in the biggest way. OK, so we played well, but not brilliantly, and once Jack was sent off I think we struggled to stretch out in midfield so Liverpool were able to take advantage there so it was partly our doing, but the red card was the biggest factor, Atkinson ruined what I also thought was a decent game otherwise apart from the result, Suarez DID cheat, many decisions went your way and I believe we were denied a penalty when Drenthe was taken down late on.

That doesn't seem to of occured with any of you here, just because the first 25 minutes were open and afterwards Liverpool were in cruise control and rarely troubled.
But you BS seem to think that it DID cost you three points. That it DID ruin the game. That Suarez dived/cheated.
BUT there is a very good chance, due to Liverpool being the better team, that Liverpool COULD/PROBABLY WOULD of got the three points anyway (admittedly the incorrect red card helped us). I dont think it ruined the game, I truly enjoyed watching the match.
Suarez did not dive, take of your blue tinted glasses and walk a couple foot away from ur tele and watch the challenge again. Rodwell after doing a perfectly legit tackle followed through and made contact with Suarez (stil not really a foul), however due to the force of his challenge it hurt. I dont know about you but if someone stands on my foot walking past, it hurts. Now imagine someone sliding through with that force and making contact....yes.....it hurts. No cheating there.
To summarise, I enjoyed the derby, loved the red card and adored reading this forum and listening to the many tears of my everton buddies. I only wish both our goals were offside, you had 7 blatant penalties denied by the ref and Gerrard banged one into the Gwladys street. Peace out.

Peace out.I went the game with my best mate, he's a Liverpool, him and me both agree Suarez is a class player, we also agree that he dived and there is no need for it, off any player, in any game.Do you know why we agreed?? Because we dont look at our teams through rose tinted spectacles and we both have a sense of footballing morality. You have neither, so your opinions and views mean little to anybody else, no matter what team they support.

"Real Men", are you a bit of a Shirley Temple ?
The problem is that if everyone "gets used to it" and footballers are expected to dive and playact then football is dead. A lot of people that I speak to are fed up with football being corrupted by diving cheating players. From the corrupt FIFA and the money doping Champions league to the step by step acceptance of cheating as "the modern game", this money generating machine will eventually fck itself up. If you want to see real sport, played by real men, try watching the Rugby World Cup and imagine what would happen to the Suarez types in those games............
