Bilyaletdinov: I will stay and fight for my place at Everton

'Everton midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov is determined to fight for a first-team place having been relegated to a bit-part player so far this season.

The Russia international has made just three appearances, two of which saw him substituted with the other being a 27-minute run out from the bench.

Bilyaletdinov was linked with a return to his homeland in the summer but stressed he wants to stick it out on Merseyside.'

probably means no-one else wants him!

Its good he has said that regardless of reasons, he needs a full run of games, like so many of our fringe players that could be good for us.
Billy has a cracking shot and can link well with Baines but he seems mentally very slow to react and i don't think you can learn that to be honest.
If we got an offer over 5 I would be tempted.

Sell him asap!    It just has not worked!  Would rather have a consistent performer than a guy who has a great shot, look at rory delap, great throw ins, but would he start in your team!   See ya Billy Boy!  Time to move on lid

This is exactly why Bily is one of my favorite players. He hasn't quite panned out but he has such a great attitude and always works his hardest when called upon

I'm a big fan of Billy.  He is the best striker of a ball we have.

Needs to be played in his preferred position and given a chance.

9m is a lot of money to spend on someone that you don't give a fair opportunity to.

Think this is why I like him as well, hope he does start to get a run for us. I also have his name on the back of my purple EFC shirt.....

Its strange that we applaud his commitment when he is paid as much as he is. Its because of all these mercenaries in the game. Every player should be committed to the club that pays their wage.

I agree with this completely. I never understood when people credited Pienaar for always giving 100% in every game he played in until moved on. I would expect every player to give 100% for the club they play for no matter what. I have no doubt that Bily wants to do well for us, but it is clear to me that he isn't good enough for this league, and he has had his chance and not taken it.

The way he lashed off his shot just as Evans turned, does not seem like a player who`s "mentally very slow to react," though. Lacks the defensive edge to be a PL winger. Kinda hopes Moyes gives him a run in Chaills position, even if it is just to get his price tag up, and return to Cahill afterwards. Feel sorry for him as he`s been ruined as a footballer at Everton. he`s probably paid very well in the process, but that actually makes it twice the waste.
