    I'm guessin they'll have year long agreements abroad. Once those end they'll increase their fees.Reduce revenue from abroad but maintain home revenue.

    Great decision from the courts though.

    sky is surely a monopoly??


    i know it isnt far off mate, or i dont think it is, but surely, the likes of man could make more from tv revenue going on their own than they actually get off sky every season??

    Well manure, chelski and the rs all run their own channels on sky already. They must have an idea of how much they could generate but they'd have to buy the rights from the premier league. What sky do at the minute is essentially collective bargaining/group discount - we'll buy all your footage. If the top teams made attractive offers then I'm sure the premier league would have to listen.

    May well happen.
