Trolling...

    Someone give me a bit of a heads up on this. You go onto a website and deliberately try to wind someone up. When they bite and throw insults back, that makes the troll chuckle to himself in his bedroom?

    Now I'm not sure I get this but if they insult back; and are funnier than the troll, when does the troller become the trollee ie, when does the troll get egg on his face? Is it when he is really sh&t at insulting and in fact everyone else gives him more abuse - which is sharper and more witty - than he gives them?

    What am saying is, there are some trolls that come on here that definitely dont cut it. When they fail - EPIC fail - what do we have to say to get it through their thick heads that they've been out-trolled or do we accept that they have a sense of humour that is no more evolved than the average primary school pupil saying "****"?

    For me, a simple show of hands and they're banned. End of.

    lol - thing is, when they read this they will know who they are and they wont be able to help themselves from commenting to defend themselves... or will they... this might just confuse 'em a bit. There We Are Then sailors!  L-)

    imo mate, its an attention seeking disorder, my guess would be that people that do 'troll' use the internet as a tool to get them selves the attention they crave in the real world through their fantasy cyber world. its the next best thing for them isnt it.

    Yeah mate, sad really. There are people on here that display very obvious personality disorders. Its the whole internet is good/internet is bad quandary.


    If it wasnt for the internet they probably wouldnt be able to interact, but then by interacting on the internet do they exacerbate their problems...

    possibly mate, but at the same time it could be self management and actually it helps them function 'better' in the real world, it possible they are using the internet to unleash their daily frustrations in life which in turn has a knock on affect in their private life and helps them live a relatively easier existence than they would have if they didnt have an outlet for those frustrations.......
