Posts: 1,398October 2011 I've posted this elsewhere as well, but does it mean that Atkinson will now be sanctioned for a decision that the FA themselves accept was wrong and spoilt what up until that point was a good game?
Great that Rodwell doesn't get suspended, but it doesn't make the injustice go away. -
Posts: 5,119October 2011 just saw it in red card appealed post, nothing will happen to atkinson, they will say its just human error rather than total ineptness on atkinson part, if they started sanctioning refs or banning them for poor inept decisions we wouldnt have any left :-))

Posts: 5,119October 2011 and great for rodwell hopefully he can carry on improving as he has looked a lot better recently, i wanna see barkley and vellios given a run as well, be nice to see all 3 of them starting along with drenthe, be a nice positive team and a look into future possibilities, one good way to revive our confidense is see 3/4 good young players playing well regularly, may take a little time for them , but i think all of them are good enough to hold there own in games

but like footballers who get 3 match ban and lose wages, doesnt really make any difference at the end of the day they still return to make the same mistakes again, he should just be kicked out of prem league and told to go learn the game again in lower leagues -

Totally agree. We all make mistakes, but currently Refs can duck explaining their reasoning - in my opinion that just makes it easier for suspicions of corruption to fester. -
