Far too much time on your hands. Why waste your time? Get it off your chest, by all means and have a rant, but really, sending in a letter and expecting a response? (other than the standard, of course)Fair play to you for having no other worries in the world. :0)

NSNO said:The problem is no longer referees….the sport itself has become a total farce.
Big game after big game is being decided by referees who are completely struggling….and it doesn’t matter how many games are ruined, FIFA UEFA and the Premier league refuse to modernize the game with video refs (which works so well in rugby)……
Sepp Blatter and his cronies throughout the game have ruined football….
There easily could have been a riot at Goodison on Saturday…..its only a matter of time before football fans have had enough…

anyway...we all know that. funny..i was chatting with a mate today at work and he isnt a big football fan and he was said footy is a farce. Why dont they have a video umpire to stamp out stuff. . Even though footy is my game i couldnt disagree with him. it is kinda embarrassing.
anyway....bad referee huh......well Clattenburg is bad but Atkinsons error is unforgiveably...and i would say that even if i was neutral.......
Whatever happened to Uriah Rennie.... I remember he was brilliant when he first started and everyone was raving about him and then suddenly he had some howler games..now hes totally off the radar

I wondered this also, so I checked him out last week, turns out he's retired. I didn't realise how old he was, but apparently he's 52, so would have retired approximately seven years ago as I believe the retirement age for a ref is 45. I agree, he was a good ref when he started out, but then like you say, he had some shockers and was never the same again. Same with Webb, used to really rate him when he started out, now he's just as bad as the rest of them.

I don't think that's true.
Until Man Utd go thru 10 years of being robbed every second year in Manchester Derby's and going a whole season without getting a penalty and getting almost every borderline major decision go against them against Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea - and getting half the team booked in a game against Man City where they didn't commit one dirty tackle....and when the same kind of thing starts happening to Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea also, only then will Sky Sports, and therefore the masses who are brainwashed by them, start stamping their feet! And we know man Utd and their like being subjected to that will never ever happen!
I said it here on Saturday. How many times does the same "Mistakes" have to go in favour of the same clubs in the same fixtures over and over again before people start saying that these bad decisions are not genuine "mistakes" at all. And this is the reason why Blatter will never sanction the introduction of video evidence - Because it would remove their ability to influence results thru these "mistakes". There's nobody as blind as those who WON'T see....and the fact that Man Utd have only conceeded 11 league penalty's at Old Trafford in the entire 19+ years of the Premier League.....NONE in the last 4-and-a-half years to anyone other than Liverpool, is only part of the evidence that we see every single week!
But hey, when we're screwed in the derby again this time next year, the masses will have again forgotten that we got screwed last Saturday and will still think it's just a one-off unlucky day for the Toffees with no recognisable pattern behind it!
