For college i've had to write an aritcle on Artetas switch to Arsenal , if some of you could just sum up what you think about his move in like a sentence or two that would be great, need to put a few blues opinions in it

A positive all round but badly timed being less than an hour from the window closing.

moyes said it all..he said no to him leaving the year before so couldn't do anything about it this time around..dont htink the timing had anything to do with arteta...more a question of arsenal knew we needed the money so knew they had us over a barrel with atke it or leave it scenario...

Glad he took a big sacrifice to leave and has aided the club in more ways then are negative. Altough a big loss he has not been the same player since his injury.

good luck to him as he will need it in that team.

Good business by Everton, but the timing of the deal could of been much better.

fair point well made. I was (and still am) a amssive fan of Arteta. My opinion is that he acted as honourably as he could in the situation even though that situation was badly timed (for us). One interesting thing - he put up a twitter post the day after the transfer that said "Arsenal is my team but Everton is my family" ... fair play to the chap.

Wasn't at his best for the last 18 months. Good money for a player of his age. Unfortunate we didnt get the money with enough time to spend it.

I was sad to see Arteta leave, but like many others have said, It was in the best interest of the club and he hadn't been playing that well as of late.
He will certainly be missed, but we will be fine without him.

I hate the way he left but I can't help especially looking out for the Arsenal game just to see how he's getting on.
