I've had this argument over the weekend with RS and the "disgraceful decision" to give Kyriakos a straight red card was brought up! How did you see that one KHL?

i too have had this discussion with my red pals.....the difference being for me was :

    a) it was an over the top tackle and merited the card
    b) he took fellaini out of the game (he was dominating at the time)and had to go off
    c) they won that game (if i remember right) so how did it have a detrimental effect on the result and didn't really cost them as wejust couldn't score !!
    d) from that moment on they got every 50/50 - even 70/30 decision if i remember rightly again !!!

like taking back handers to award certain countries world cups ?
like taking back handers to vote people into office !
like "fixing" things to ensure certain teams get special dispensations !!

    it goes on and on...

Pretty similar to what I was saying. Once you slide in like that, you have to get the ball. He didn't! Some in the past have also said Fellaini should have saw red for the incident himself....It's true that his foot did go down on Kyriako's shin....but it was Fellaini trying to protect himself and the Greek was able to walk away without even limping!

make things more open and transparent...the refs commitee will meet today to discuss the weekends games....BEHIND CLOSED DOORS....they'll make decisions....pat each other on the back..support each others poor performance...and that will be that....no one will question them and they'll not have to answer to anybody....the standard line will come from them

"we called it as we saw it"

from the prem we'll get the standard "they're only human and we all make mistakes..." and my personal favourite.."if we take the human element out of i the game we will have nothing to discuss on a monday morning !!! "....

when every other sport benefits from technolgy !!!!
