suarez is quality, if one of our players did exactly the same thing we'd be made up to get a rs sent off. the world of football is in agreement that it wasnt a red card but you cant give refs a decision to make by flying in 2 footed even if you get the ball first, you need cool heads in these emotionally fueled games. abusing the ref and suarez does no good, as painful as it is we gotta take this one on the chin and admit we were out foxed by a clever and top class player.

i know lid but its part and parcel of the game now unfortunately, arteta had a bad habit of doing it too, even jags dived for a peno we got last season.

Posts: 33October 2011 the other question is, if Atkinson came up to both training grounds last week to speak to the players he was obvioulsy preparing himself for a fractious match so was looking to make an example of someone - just unfortuante that it was Jack. Up to that point it wasn't a dirty game but he was looking for a reason to be the hard ref from before the kick off. Everyone in the game knows that Suavez is like Bambi on Ice and play acts so why did Atkinson not take this into account? Reason - he likes the spotlight, it's his bit of fame - same as Webb - they like the limelight.
Suarez is a cheat yes, Jack is rash yes but the villain is Atkinson -
