    OKAY.

but what about his worst? who would you pick?

moysey has done well with cheap buys, but have his expensive buys worked out as well; yak, aj, bt etc?

i think that fellaini is questionable.

    Koldrup

Fellaini is a great player but constantly played out of position. when he is DM he is brilliant. If I was Moyes I would play Barkley and Fellaini in the middle every game and therefore if they did leave at Christmas we could get more omney for them. Have them in the shop window and in their best positions

If I'm honest I'd say the Yak, Johnson, Beattie were all good buys but then Moyes tried to turn them into something they are not. Yakubu the prime example, he was never a player full of running, just a goal scorer. I get the impression he was frozen out because he does not fit into DM's favoured lone striker role, and could not/would not adapt his style.

Remember Kroldrup as well, still can't figure what went wrong there.

But DM has made some fantastic signings too; Cahill, Baines, Jagielka, Fellaini etc and in my book has succeeded more than failed. Some were expensive, some not.

problem with kroldrup is he was bought from the italian league, a totally different game, a friend close to the club actually told me he was shocked that he was expected to win headers lol , he wasnt out injured as long as they said, he was actually being shown how to head a ball when up against a centre forward, they spent hours throwing the ball up in the air for him with big dunc up against him, obviously never worked and maybe big dunc scared the life out of him he never recovered.

Ayegbeni Yakubu £11.25m Marouane Fellaini £15m Simon Davies £3.5m rising to £4m Per Kroldrup £5 million James Beattie £6 million John Heitinga £6m rising to £7m Andrew Johnson £8.6m Diniyar Bilyaletdinov £10,000,000?
apart from bily and heitinga who dont seem to play  much, not too bad. per was a waste, but otherwise we dont seem to have too much to complain about.

from a purely financial perspective you would have to say that the yak was our worst buy. cost 11 mill., sold 1.25 mill.

a lousy deal. i still think we should have kept him. i reckon moysey takes advice from fergie: 'if their stroppy get rid of 'em'.

fergie can afford that luxury. we can't.
