Made a lot of mistakes yesterday. However sad it was loosing Rodwell so early the boys reacted the wrong way. They should of taken strength from that outrage and bullied Liverpool into submission. We let them play and the goals were well as big a joke as Rodwell getting sent off.
Carroll goal was a defensive lapse, not a great goal from an over rated very expensive player who like Torres believes he's good.....the last goal was straight out of keystone cops but it was evident the lads gave up being focused.........and more so when Kuyt nearly made it 3.
The great points was what a keeper Tim Howard was especially the penalty............
The team has to mental overcome issues and focus on consistency we lost against City , the team we played 8 times and beat them 7 so they have expensive players but imagine how to manager them madonnas.....how good are they when under pressure AVERAGE, out wit them bully them and leave them that playing Everton is a challenge they don't want to look forward too....
Liverpool was the same new team, £100 million spent pretty below average and no guts just show.......
Chelsea next they know we are tough cookie, this should be the turning point and I would look at keeping Neville on as captain as he bosses the players and we need a general on the pitch, coleman brilliant, jags and Cahill loosing confidence but great players who need to step up a gear.
New lads good but need Saha on ( if he is fit) he needs to be our Dixi and he can score but he has to believe he wants to be that hero.
Its not their ability its their mental confidence and we as fans need to get behind these lads , as the peoples club and show the league and the world that EVERTON are a better investment than CITY, CHELSEA,and LIVERPOOL
As for Rodwell he is a great lad but he has to show he's not a boy but a man and class act.
