To help take the focus off refs, big decisions should be made by a selection of officials (Who cares if it means matches finish 5 mins later then they currently do.

Football is really behind the times when it comes to officiating games.

i agree with you to a point, but we cant really take all the controversy out of the game, lets face it it keeps us busy on forums and gives us talking points in the pub. just finding a nice balance and knowing football authorities no chance of that.

I don't think it would take the controversy out - Things will always be subject to opinion and interpretation, but it would stop bias and obvious injustices happening and that can only be a good thing.

Bitterness, suarez is a world class player fact, he went down easy, 95% of the league does it now, sadly its a part of football, lucas was worse walking over waving a card in air to the ref to get him booked, that imo is worse,

    i agree!
something I've always wondered is why they don't just stop the clock like in rugby, obviously the rules and reasons are slightly different but it just seems a more logical way of doing things.

Suarez!!! Difficult not to question his morals.
From his blatant cheating in the world cup, .

Suarez gets notoriety for the World Cup incident, but I don't call it cheating. In that situation, you have to keep the ball out of the net at all costs. The consequence of a hand ball in the box is a penalty and a red card. If the guy doesn't miss the penalty, nobody is complaining about Suarez. It wasn't Suarez's fault that the penalty was missed.
