The thing about his Everton career, the many goals and great memories aside, is that he comes from the other side of the world but he just 'gets' everthing about the club, the passion of the supporters, the 'us against the world' mentality. He genuinely loves playing for the club, he is genuinely honoured to be a very small piece of the clubs history.
Tomorrow if he plays, he will be playing for you and i just as much as he will play for himself and his team-mates..............................................................and for this he will always hold a place in my big blue love-in!!!
