It completely depends on him staying fit.

Doesn't get many games but is top 3 scorer every season. The man is a cracking striker but with one obvious drawback.
I am just glad he is good at getting back to form from injuries,
3 in 3, bearing in mind he had most of a year without scoring tells a story. For months I slated Moyes for playing him when he wasn't scoring but when he started again he was immense... The he got injured,

He got on my nerves against City though. I didn't see him run about or close down a defender. Very Lazy!

But didn't Moyes fall out with Yakubu because he didn't run about?

I think Moyes Favours his fellow Ginger!

Problem is he plays well for a couple of games, then either gets injured or becomes uninterested. It's not like Rooney for instance who you get a good shift out of every game.

Quite simple - can you build or base a team around a player who is not going to be available?

Saha is a top top player... But, you wouldn't want to get him too fit.

He might get injured if he trained for that long!

Why do you need to build your team around him? He is there to finish off what the midfield starts and the evidence is there in his goal tallies per game that he is more than capable of doing that.
Build the team around Fellaini, Rodwell or Barkley in the centre and use them to provide amo for Saha, he's just the point on the Everton spear and when he's fit that is a very sharp point.

imo, how dare people question whether Cahill is finished, when some of the same people here arent even questioning if Saha is finished, only hoping he's fit !!!!!?????
Totally baffles me. Louis Saha, beautiful footballer, never plays; and when he does only plays if he's up for it. Has to have things go for him in the 1st 15 mins or he just gets a big bottom lip, and moans and flings his arms in frustration. What a waste of space, time and money. To think we could have got so much money for him in January, beggers belief. However if he plays and scores the winner, or goals in a win, then i love him and he's the greatest thing since sliced bread(or garlic bread). Footie fans we're so fickle arent we......

Saha has scored 9 goals since January while Cahill hasn't even scored one.

Just thought i might point out Cahill is not an out and out striker, but always seems to end up top or second top scorer, even last season!!!!! [-X
