And as I've said on numerous occasions, I'll post in a patronising manner to any BU muppet on here as I see fit.

It would seem that cap fits well with you.

Can't see any point in the fans running the club unless they have money. Otherwise we would still be in exactly the same situation.

So how do Barca work????? Considering there are over 170,00 owners of the club?

They subscribe to the investment fund that owns the club. They individualy do not own the club the fund does. This annual fee pulls in around £20 million per year used to run the club. It actually started with fans putting in what they could afford and they waited till they had the capital to buy the club. This fund has taken the next step and now instead of a one off payment they have a certian number of shares in the investment fund. They do not have any direct involvement into the club and the funds are not ness used to buy pl;ayers but most commanly used to pay the investors some funds in return. but there is the option of using the funds to purchase new players, kit, training items etc. They meet twice a year minimum to come up with plans to increase income, plans ways the club can move forward. These are then presented to the board who run the club and posibilities are moved forward.

Your right that it is hard to work but you have to get off the idea you would be buying the club. You buy into the investment fund that owns the club. What you own and work with is the investment fund.

Its more of a political system. Candidates put forward their views on what needs to happen and the fans vote on electing one of them in to preside over the club for a term of office.

At the moment we are struggling with a board that works for free and lends the club money with no interest. We just couldn't afford it.

Can you imagine being elected....you'd probably get death threats off toffeepleb.

You could probably raise enough money to buy the club, but at that point you'd be done for. What needs to happen is enough money to buy a new stadium as well...again, it just wouldn't happen.

Yeah well one step at a time. Your right in a new stadium is needed but first is to make sure the club is safe and can turn a profit.

With a basic model of the BVarca style is you have two options.

Full deal where you buy a share in the fund for X amount (idea of £1000) OR you can do a yearly subscription of EST £250 a year. With the full share you can pull out after a 5 year period and recieve your money back + a small percentage. On the yearly subscription you pull out and that is is.

I know what your saying but they have a different mentality over there. Its much more of a communal thing.

But for us, could the fans buy the club? Probably. Could the fans buy a stadium, very doubtful. Could the fans buy the club and a new stadium.... thats more then likely impossible.

Look at the new juventus Stadiun 43,000 for less than £100 million. Schalke not sure on capicity £120 million. It is not the reported 200 - 300 - 400 million required unless your going to build the latest most advanced stadium ever. Will everton Fill it no. But a stadium EST 50,000 with no bad views is possible
