    2 nil down to norwich, and they've been awful all game

    so the teams above us are spending 100's of millions to get a few points away from us and all those below are spending millions to get a few points nearer to us. bottom line........we will be top 7 at least

    You've got to wonder how many of these teams are "living the dream" and spending beyond their means. Spme of them could be in big trouble if they don't do as well as they hope too.

    i reckon Bruce could be sacked soon

    add to that, the fact that more and more promoted teams are staying up, ie more established prem teams going down AND that its nails to get out of the championship.............just look at birmingham

    I know its been said before, but just look at Leeds!

    Even City had a good few years in the lower leagues, and it was easier for relegated teams to be promoted back then

    charlton, forrest, shef weds. more recently, west ham, newcastle.

    for the likes of sunderland, newcastle (again) bolton, stoke and im sure a few others, they are taking the financial punt to push to the next level, whereas we have done it over time. kinda the tortoise and the hare.
    its a gamble for them because, well.............portsmouth

    I would of liked us to sign Larsson on a free but apart from him I think they signed many average players.

    i wouldnt blame the players. its the management. Larson and Sessegnon..neat players.......
    so glad they signed Bentner though..hes pants
