First Derby Goal

28th October 1978. Sat on a bar near the back of the Gwladys Street, when Andy King takes the ball on the edge of the area at the Park End. In the excitement I didn't see him hit it, but I saw it go in. The next 5 minutes would have been the best time ever to pick some pockets at Goodison. I ended up about half way down the terrace and being helped to my feet.

Not my first, but loved the Cademateri goal, as everything at the time was all about Michael Owen this, Michael Owen that. Then he scored, and a few lads around were singing "ya can shove yer Michael Owen up yer ****", was just a magical and hilarious momment..... \:D/

First one i seen live was last season at Goodison, since staying up in Aberdeen it's harder to see games as often as i like but Cahill lashing home the first goal was just brilliant, Arteta's was just as good!

If I'm totally honest, any goal against the RS is the best goal. I don't care who or how as long as Clive Thomas, Collina, Clattenberg, or Webb are not there to disallow a perfectly good goal. God!! Clive Thomas, I really have shown my age there.

Stuart Mccalls 2 goals in the 89' cup final probably my earliest memory, before that, i just remember southall pulling off great saves in the derby and thinking 'wow, i wanna be like that'.......

Anyone old enough to have been in the crowd for the '91 FA cup game? 4-4 it ended up, it was an unbelieveable night. Super sub Cottee came on and scored two goals, it was the most intense Derby I've ever sat through. The second half I will never see the like again!

The first Derby goal that I was there for was Lee Carsley's when we won 1-0 in 2004 at Goodison.
