Posts: 3,433March 22 I remember the situation being pretty similar in the 90's at the back end of the last Con government. I claimed benefits during the transition to New Labour and the difference was stark. I'd never want to be on benefits under the Conservatives, that's for sure. It would seem that in general terms, they're a bunch of truly heartless b_astards.

Common sense mate. Thing is some lefty lesbo will start crying its against human rights etc. i've had an ad out for two weeks to employ someone. All I get is idiots wanting to ride horses. The ad says, no riding. Yet they still ask. -
Posts: 2,186March 22 If you give them work to do pay them a living wage, this attitude of making people work for free was what the slave industry was about. Tories will always believe in a trickle down economy, when anyone with any sense knows that wealth is created by the workers, pay them well and they will work hard and create a stronger economy.
