Is it time to drop " The Z cars Theme "

    And replace it with a modern and more stimulating  piece of music. The welsh for instance go in for rousing hymns and if we took that route maybe " Oh come all yea Faithful " might fill the bill .I find the lyrics to ' Z cars ' are very moronic to say the least, Da da  dahhh , DE da da da dahhh, da de dahh de da da dahhhh is not for me stimulating ,

    but the theme is so old and worn out. Why there is only a hand full of people that can say they remember the old cop show on t.v. that feature the tune. Why and how it became Evertons signature song I'll never know. But and it is a big but, I did not say scrap it . I asked if  it was time to drop it . A question that by your reactions is in the negative.

    I'm not that bothered about z cars to be honest. Although it is more than a touch odd.

    One thing I would do away with though is signing anything about not caring what the red side say....with the additional "what the heck to we care".... protests a little too much if you ask me. Should be binned as it just reeks of small time aspirations.

    That's a new one on me.  I remember I think The Archies singing "Honey Honey" .... ABAB sang "Money Money Money" correct me if I'm wrong.

    just remembered The Archies song was " Sugar  Sugar  "

    A further Edit . ABAB did write and record " Honey Honey  " care of  " Wikipedia " so go on tear a strip off me...
