Moyes's Replacement

After the recent Moyes bashing after yesterday's game, I would like all the people who have called for him to be sacked to make a list of managers who would replace him because i can't think of anyone who would want to come here at the present time.

It was drewbarr mate. His thread went on for quite a while and I think there were a lot of people who expressed dissatisfaction at Moyes' tactics, although they didnt actually ask for Moyes to be sacked. The honour in that lies solely with drewbarr saunders...  :-q

I don't want David Moyes to leave, but if he did, I would want Gianfranco Zola to replace him as manager.

Actually, yeah, it would be interesting to see those who want Moyes out to give an honest answer as to who they'd like to come in...... I'm not one of those who want him out, but I can think of only ONE possibility, and even then it's not a certainty that we could get him, but would be the most realistic and best manager I think we could bring in...... I won't say his name yet, wonder if anyone else will say it.

We aren't even a poisoned chalice in the current football climate

We are the equivalent of a maccies cup that some tramp has done a turd in

Joe Kinnear is my guess or Dave Bassett

nobody asked for moyes to be sacked and i didnt, i want him to get some belief back and at least instill some confidense in his players , instead of jumping on the we have no money bandwagon, which he seems to be doing lately, he use to put some spirit into the team, but hes given up, hes turne dinto a whiner and all he seems to do is moan about the situation, if hes had enough he should just go, instead of dragging us down, and he wasnt limited yesterday he chose to play a full back in centre mid and his best midfielder upfront, all last season he moaned about not having any striking option , yet he chose to leave 3 strikers on bench and go with 2 midfielders upfront, wtf is all that about.

Starting with 2 midfield players up frong against MC was a definitive negative statement about scoring, the normal long ball approach didn't work.
A more positive manner for DM; 2 strikers and one winger on from the start would at indicate to the supporters that we were going to attack more than try for a draw.
I don't believe that any other manager would do any better under the current financial restrictions but DM should a a more positive approach to the games against the top4/5 clubs.

Davey Jones? - Gus Pouyet?  Martinez?  - Wouldn't mind any of them - but willing to give Moyes more time .....just really want to see what he could do with some proper money (i.e money not generated from selling his best players)

So come on Andy - who is it?

brendan rodgers, paul lambert, ian holloway(least it would be eventfull) i still think we can attract managers from the clubs these 3 are at regardless of what money we got available.

The list is starring you in the face.

We have so many users on the BR who are able to tell everyone how we would have won every game we failed to win, we could sack Moyes right now and still finish the season with 106 points!

    Simple!
