    I'd hold out for more.

Andy Carroll for £35m - Barkley can be worth a lot more.

At this point in time he isn't integral to our team. As excited as I am about how good he can be, I'd happily take £30m in January for him.

I know that wont sit well with a lot of you; but if we're not going to play him, then how can we miss him?

If Moyes put faith in him and said he is the best young midfielder in the country and he's staying put and helping us by playing; then I'd say keep him. Moyes wont do that.

hypothetically speaking, IF, all the money from this summers transfers went to pay off debts, putting us in a substantially better position and somebody were to offer 30million for Barkley, thats 3 good players for about 8million each and a couple of squad players, would everyone be happy or not??

The otherside of the coin is this, Barkley, Felli and Rodwell could be an amazing midfield partnership in the years to come, so do we risk that or take the hypothetical 30million and build another team for the next 5,6,7 years??

Its the Rooney argument; and I know that Scott has strong feelings about that - that we shouldn't have sold Rooney (a decent argument I think).

However, for me I trust in Moyes' ability to bring in quality on a shoestring - that is his strongest area imo. So for me, I'd sell him.

My concern is that Felli will go for £10-15m in January - no new contract at present.

1st off manu couldnt even afford that, secondly i doubt man city have hurd of him and 3rdly chelsea dont buy our players as they obviously prefer liverpool after just giving them 50mil

If he continues the form he's been in this season, at the end of it, another £10-£15m could be added on top.... THEN I'd bite their hands off......

The Rooney thing worked for us though. It helped the club again financially, and Moyes got a few players in and we ended up qualifying for Champions league...

everton are just going to be a feeder club to the billionaires, as like the rest of the cannon fodder. the premier league is a waste of time its cost the mancs £140 mill to beat us. i have heard some royal family from the east are thinking of investing in man u. if this happens then what chance does anyone have? all the rich clubs get paid millions for the champions league while we and the rest of the poor get poorer. like i have said before most 15 or so clubs fight relegation and a slim chance for the carling cup.... yippy flipin do!!!!! the prem is a waste of time cos the same old clubs will win everything year in,year out. how can any team compete against the likes of city, utd, chelsea? im not whinging about our great club, but its pointless this league end of.

There's always going to be big guns and smaller teams. And any team can compete for the FA cup. Pompey won it a few years ago and they have been to another final since. As well as that Everton, Stoke, Pompey and Cardiff are the last 4 finalists. No team can go  from mid-table to title contester over night. Look at City they took billions and a few years/ managers to get where they are now. Don't lose the faith our time will come again and hopefully sooner rather then later!

You use the league to build. Our first objective is to get back in Europe because that generates extra income and attracts better players.
