Moyes has got to be braver and show more belief in the attacking players we have and stop with the 'weve already lost before weve started attitude'

he sent a team out that in my opinion had no chance of getting a result, we had no attacking threat and just parked the bus, weve tried it time and again in the past vs utd at old trafford and it never pays off, we always concede eventually and we always look like eventually losing, so its the same thing

I do think Apostolos Vellios should of started and Fellaini should replaced Neville in defensive mid

There is a massive diffeence between this(bold print) and Moyes sending his team out to lose.

Why can't you accept your earlier post was pyar verbal-diarrhoea?

I think that Moyes gives these teams a bit too much respect. He did the same last season away at Man U and we defended all game and you could see a goal for Man U coming. I'm not saying we should go all out attack against these teams, of course not, but we should play with a bit less fear against them. After all, it is harder for them to win the game if we score a goal isn't it?

Lads its time for a reality check. Today we were playing ateam that cost about, at a conservative estamite, 20 times our teams value. Moyse in his wisdom weighed tings up and said a point would be a brilliant result here. Brought my eldest to the pub today, he is 14 by the way, to soak up the atmosphere. We both said before kick off that a point would be brill.
Can any muppett seriously think that we could have played football toe to toe with City today ? The gulf is massive plain and simple. We lasted I think till the 68 min without conceeding, all respect to Howard and Distin, and were then caught out. Big f uc k. Lads get real our manager does not send us out to loose, far from it he sends us out in the hope of gaining points. My 14 year old can grasp it why cant ye ?

When did anyone say they wouldn't be happy with a point? I am sure all Evertonians on here would of been happy with a point today, but you can't play for a 0-0 and defend for 90 minutes against Man City. I will say it again, I am not saying that we should go all out attack, of course not, but we can't sit back for 90 minutes that's for sure. I could see a goal coming, and I thought that we would concede before half time if I'm honest, and that's because as the game went on we just got deeper and deeper, and in the end it look like we were playing 4 6 0. Sitting back doesn't work for us, no matter who you are playing against, you can't defend all game without conceding a goal. We should of at least tried to score a goal, but we never even forced the keeper into making a save.

lower teams have a better go at the big 4 all the time mate and we always do ok against chelsea and manu, today there was just nothing there becuase to many key players left out and played in wrong positions
