David Moyes Has To Go

Everton have great players but they are not used properly by a negative manager who is far to cautious. Whts is the point of playing 75% of the game against Man City with 4 strikers on the bench and none on the pitch? Fans have called for the head of Bill Kenwright. I think we are missing the point. David Moyes has never won a thing in football either as a player or a manager and his team choices and style of play never will. Time to go David. Bring in an attack minded manager. TT.

Don't talk nonesence, we have a decent team no more, we were up against half a billion pounds worth of talent, a team consistently scoring high numbers, we played our best players, it worked last year, this year it didn't.
We conceded the same amount of goals when we went attacking for 10 minutes as we did over nearly 80 minutes.
All out attack will see us relegated.. Ask a Blackpool fan.

Got to say am getting fed up of Moyes ultra defensive attitude, even against the average sides. Just cant se where we are going to pick a point up over the next month

were not playing our best players, we got felli upfront with 3 strikers on the bench , the most promising player weve had since rooney is left in changing room, and we got a headless chicken in coleman playing. 5 games into season and barkleys left out.

We are playing the best players for the situation, do you think Saha would of won anywhere near as many headers as Felli and Cahill? It was always going to be long ball and needing to hold it up.. Therefore we put our best headerers up front.
Felli is able to hold the ball better than most but I think Moyes was unprepared for just how good City were, our team was supposed to charge up and assist the strikers, they never got close and it doesn't matter who you have up front if the team cannot attack because they are penned in. You could put Rooney or Aguerro up front but he's not going to beat 5 defenders on his own.

The problem with Moyes is he has favourites (Neville) that he looks to fit in the team even out of position. Osman is poor on the left I'd of started Drenthe. Osman is a good player but he is an attacking mid not a left one.

I've been fed up of the 4-5-1/4-6-0 for years, but it'll never change.

He could have all the money in the world, and he'd never drop that formation.

no sense in trying to attack a team like City. I would much rather play a 4-5-1 against them and try and spring the counter which we just couldn't do today. What irritates me is when we play one striker against the lower level teams

    I agree, but I wouldn't play 4 6 0 against anyone.

    Best Manager we can afford.

Man for the job unless we get a Billionaire owner.

I'm sick and tired of some of the people who appear on this forum every time we lose a match and ring out the MOYES SHOULD BE SACKED garbage. I'm also tired of the 4-6-0 nonsense when we have a midfielder playing as a forward. Neville can be classed as a midfielder but when he plays right back does that mean we're playing 3-7-0? When Coleman plays on the wing yet his first position is as a right back does that mean we're playing 5-5-0? Of course not! Cahill is becoming a forward purely because of his aerial ability, strength and work rate plus his distribution has never been the best for a midfielder.

The only thing that worries me is the targeting of Silva which really doesn't impress me at all.

I'd have gone defensive away to city as well, try and shut them down and hit on the break. So got no problem with David's tactics today, it doesn't always work out. I do however get annoyed when we go 4-5-1/4-6-0 at home to Wigan and West Brom.............4-4-2 all the way Davey!

Would like to agree with all you have said but you are moving to the dark side like the rest. We are all armchair experts, end of.
