When we beat Wigan 2-1 at Goodison in Dec 2012, Fellaini, Gibson, Mirallas & Coleman did not play. We did not play well that day.

Though we won without them last time, hopefully they will make a big difference this time round on Saturday.

we look like we've got a strong team for wigan (baring jags and maybe howard) so we should be too much for them. i always fancy our chance when we have gibson and felliani in the middle and some added creativity from mirallass. it's when gibosn is out we lose our structure or when mirralas is out we run out of ideas

i'm looking forward to this one. we played well against reading, mirallas was good, so was pienaar. coleman is a player ive had a few doubts about but he is starting to look the part. hibbo will have to work to get his place back.

and its an early kick off, so i can watch it here at a civilised hour.

one thing on Wigan.....never like playing a team after they've had a shocker.....usually (even shlt teams) you get a reaction the following game....
was nice to see 2 of their players nearly coming to blows though against liverpool.....was hoping they'd throw a couple of slaps at each other and bought get sent off.....

We've had a pretty favourable cup run compared to usual. Either Man United or Chelsea will be going out this round and we could still end up with the winner of Blackburn and Millwall at Wembley. As long as we beat Wigan first ofcourse.

yep we can't have asked for better so far........but we need to get back to our early season form if we're gonna have a chance of winning it (and although we looked better against Reading, we're still well away from that form).....

have a feeling IF we're gonna win it, we gonna have to beat both Manchester teams at Wembley....and i don't fancy our chances of doing that.....
