Posts: 3,000March 1 well chaps and chapesses...I dont know if you've realised/noticed ye BUT..if we get to the cup final our opponenets the week before are............them away !!does moyes play a full strength team ? or a weakened team and save players for the cup final..remember the slating he got for doing just that last year ??will it bring the moaners out of the woodwork again this year...ye moanin' bstrds...like......

ye it was,,,hahaha that's what led to me berating tickets who said sunderland would batter us and knock us out the cup..he said he would apologise if we won and he never did..despite my constant reminders for him to do so..eventually he stopped posting....oooh err..just realised summit....anyway back to original post...people slated moyes for picking a weakened side against them before the sunderland game,,interesting to see if the same people creep out of the woodwork if he does it again and we lose against them...week before the final... -

Howie will straight up murder his @ss if he does it again....
My worry would be (and without getting too far ahead of ourselves ofcourse ;-) ) that Suarez would get one or more of our players sent off, and carragher would do jelavic in..... -

ye my concern too..at least 1 sent off and 2 injured...but if moyes plays a weakened side and we lose ...will he get lambasted again ? -

not on the eve of a cup final I don't think.....but hopefully its a heated debate we get to have on here -

Remember the weekend before the 09 final we were away to Fulham and I had hoped Moyes would play the reserves but he played the cup final team coz he wanted to secure 5th place in the PL! I was annoyed with him over that - still am. So I would hope he wouldn't do it again
having said that, the team we put out an Anfield last season wasn't even that much of a weakened team. Really only the addition of Jelavic would have made us stronger.

Apologies if I have got this wrong...but if you are talking about playing are best side against the RS of course we should always play our best side, even if it is a friendly. Anyone who doesnt understand that doesnt understand anything. Moyes lost the plot the night we got beat 3-0. Cost to 48 quid a ticket...70 quid petrol....1 day off work
