    i agree mate.

scored 13 in 31 games this season, not hit top form.

Jelavic 7 in 29 games, not hit top form.

Sometimes when its our own, do we take the loss of form out of context in comparison to other teams players??

exactly Daniel, but, he is off form this season, if we had Aguero instead of Jelavic, i bet people wouldnt be slating Aguero for losing form like they have been over Jelavic.

I think people are having a go at Jela because he got our hopes up. I honestly thought he'd get 20-25 goals before the season started.

    hahahaaa

If he only scores once from now until the end of the season but it's the winning goal in the FA cup final then I'll be happy :D

no mate, its just the relative comparison to our own player and a player at another club.

both have not hit the heights of last season for one reason or another......but cos Jelavic is our player people are saying he is crap blah blah cos he has lost his form.

But you ask about a player from anotehr club who's form hasn;t been quite there this season and people can just accept that its a loss of form where is it has to be more than just that if its a player from your own team.

Sambo makes a very good point here. I think Agueros name and former glories can buy him some time whereas Jelavic isn't a huge name but started well and has found it hard to live up to his form of last season.

yes mate, exactly that. Had Jelavic cost 35 million and come from Real Madrid instead of Rangers then we would be forgiving him for his lack of form this season.

What it boils down to in actual fact is, most football fans are thick as two short planks.

no mate, cos of his reputation and where he came from people would be more forgiving as they would just epxect for him to turn the corner......throw the number 9 shirt on his back and he could never do any wrong.
