Big Summer ahead

All depending on how we finish at end of season as Moyes so politely put it.

More than likely he will go along with Fellaini and Fellaini we got to understand wants to better himself and play champ league I cant argue with that. If we get 30 mill for him we can invest along with the additional 30 mil tv revenue. Obv a chunk should go toward debt.

I can see Baines staying I dont know why but I believe he will be here next season. Kolo Toure is on a free. He could certainly do a job for us and can also play RB as well as DM. If we sign a box to box type midfielder to play alongside Gibson allowing Osman to play behind striker. We should look at the option of signing Sinclair from city he not getting a kick. Would mean less pressure on Pienaar if we had the option of someone with a bit of pace rather than naismith.

The side needs rebuilt and we need a committed hungry manager to do it. I can see Martinez becoming the main man next season for us.

out of breath after reading that, but i agree, need a young manager who wants to play good flowing football who isnt a complete cap end who will bottle the prospect of managing and taking out great club forward to the heights it deserves

Big Summer ahead indeed. We will find out if BK and his cronies want to move the Club forward, or just sit on their shares until the point when the ever-increasing TV money is enough to make the Club's resale value high enough for them to make a profit on its sale. Moyes' contract ending is the catalyst for them having to decide either way. He is giving them every chance to commit more funds to the cause. They can either do this, or let him go to further his career elsewhere. Whatever the perceived qualities of his potential replacement, if Moyes leaves, then we will know that the Club's owners are content to sit mid-table. If Moyes does go, we are condemned to mediocrity, whatever you think of his qualities as a manager: BK will simply select a replacement who is content to operate on a shoestring budget.

God, it looks even more depressing in print.

Who knows? The threat of losing Moyes may be the kick up the backside the shareholders need, to find more money. They may consider it worthwhile, financially, to retain Moyes and make a credible effort to get into the Champions League. That's what I'm hoping, anyway. Your username and the above post suggests you may be somewhat pessimistic.
