    me arl mate mark smith used to manage them...he loved it up there..but he left to become academy manager at barnsley..then moved on to sheff wed...and ye they're crap...

    My mate daz used to play for them.....but they were offering him a right cack contract so he sacked them off, treated him pretty bad, so thats another reason they are cack for me.....

    i did me B license at York Fc but just been trying to remember the managers name who was there at the time and cant remember it for the life of me.........he was an ex player, a winger..and sadly his son who was only 18 was on the books at sheff wed and was queing to get in a nightclub and collapsed and died........

    yes thats him Gordon Staniforth.....shame about his lad....Gordon was the coach who put me on the path to working as coaching trainer and with the FA all them years ago...

    teribble couldn't remember his name for the life of me...

    What level do you coach? Something I'd like to do but probably not unless/until I have kids.

    pro licence m8...coach at various academies...train coaches for their licences (ex pros on behalf of FA) and work when requested with england youth teams...

    first started at bmouth wiv old 'arry...in the mid 80's....then had a break for a coupla years...then got invited back in to do it again then PFA paid for me badges all the way through..moved back up north and got offered work with FA doing the coaches coaching all over the country etc...just grew form there..as you work in clubs they offer you work when they need more qaulified coaches...when the academy system came into play late 90's i worked with clubs to set theor academies up and obviously got me face in all over so the work just got more and more...
