    think he is trying to gee the players up to prove they can finish higher than that.

    I think there's only one way to take it mate....Moyes wants a bigger job, and he's worried if Everton don't finish 4th or win the FA cup then his cv isn't strong enough for a top job.....so he plssing on the club to make himself look better...

    Let him do that in the summer, he can make all the excuses then if need be.....but not now, right now he needs to be positive......

    Its only right that the highest earner is the manager plus I do think he's under pressure to succeed from the fans atleast

    He thinks finishing 7th is successful yet he gets paid a top 4 wage

    Top 4 isn't as impossible as it used to be.... Liverpool & arsenal have both dropped off.....spurs as a club are no bigger than us, take bale out and they're no great shakes....

    So moyes has no reason to be talking so defeatist.....

    I personally think yer need to reflect on wha' "achieve" means in the current climate, consistent top 'alf of the table is achievin' somethin' like...
