    1. Go to "tinypic.com"
    2. Click on "Choose file" and then browse your computer for the image you want
    3. Click "Download Now"
    4. It will ask you to type in the word that appears on screen - security
    5. The image will appear on the right hand side of the screen
    6. Right click on the image and you will get a drop down menu
    7. Select "Copy image URL"
    8. Come on here and above the typing box you'll see over on the right there is an icon that looks like a picture - if you hover over it, it says "Insert Image"
    9. Click on "insert image"
    10. A box will come come up - delete the contents and then right click over the box that you have just cleared
    11. Select paste and then enter

Sounds a bit complicated but this is one way of doing it.

Howie.....on the whole people 'hotlink'.....i.e you use other peoples bandwidth isstead of hosting the pictures on your account somewhere, tinypic, picassa, etc......you find the image you want to use on google....right click, copy image location......and when posting....the click the picture bottom and paste the copied image location in the box and off you pop.

Thats why its done so quickly.

That said, your pictures aren't on google, they are on your computer....so the above is the route you should use.

You might also want to take a look at googles picasa....its free, and lets you store your images online ....and you can play about with them too on your computer.

Yeah....download picasa off google...you'll need a gmail account....but thats just like setting up a hotmail account....and then you'll have somewhere to store, keep and edit and play about with your pictures on your computer and somewhere on the web to upload them....you can then elect to open them to the public or just share them with the people you give the link too.

But then...you can just grab the link and put it in a post just like you would something from youtube or the like.

I use picasa as if from google and they are greedy for your information.

Trick is just don't give them any.... the their stuff does do the hard work for you and guides you along each step of the way for it very straight forward to follow.

For example, the moment you install picasa it searches your computer for every photo you have and they you just tell it which ones, folders/albums you want to add to it...you link it to your google account (gmail account) at the start anyway.....and then you just click the one you want on the web and click upload.....and you are off!
