Since we announced the Leroy Fer deal, FC Twente haven't won a match......

dont know what made me randomly think to look that up.

It bares no relevance to anything really.

But in a strange kind of way its quite interesting.

Is he a major piece in their footballing jigsaw, and has his mind been swayed by joining us so he isn't performing to the best of his ability perhaps?? If that is the case, and he is an instrumental part of their team, that would mean he must be pretty decent.

To be honest its not that surprising. They've been keeping their eye on comments in the BR:

"I see Fer played 90 mins again"

"Fer still not injured, it was all made up!"

"Nice one Bill, Fer hasn't missed a game" etc

If anyone of these people has actually watched one of their games, they'd have noticed that Fer is actually incapable of walking and the rest of their midfield take turns pushing him around in his wheel chair.... its little wonder they are getting spanked week in week out.

Small price to pay though, couple more months and Newcastle or Spurs will bid 15 million for him.
