    who cares???

People were using the coleman secnario as a positive saying who needs 10m players when we can get players like coleman for 60k.
the guy who brought him through has now left to chelsea no less.

Its not only our players that are leaving to pursue bigger things.

and doeent look like your mate is doing a great job for united since they are having to buy all of their youngsters like smalling and jones for big money.

the scouting department has been our main positive over the years brining through the youth and even thats going to the ********

If Mick found Coleman it's probably a good thing we got rid of him. He's found his one gem and he'll probably wont find another as good.

Once again I'm looking for the silver lining.

Dan yuor probably right mate, scouts probably spend a whole career trying to unearth players like this who turn from lumps of coal into diamonds.....he's probs shot his bolt now so to speak :p

so why have you spent years slagging them off...then when they leave you praise them as gods !!!

as for my mate ...you dont know the job he's doing so dont comment on him....he's been there 20 years and i'm sure SAF is a better judge of what type of job he's doing than you !!!

most scouts at this level "dont find players" they get leads to them....go analyse them over a period of time and recommend to the club....the club in colemans case probably moyes or round will then analyse them for a few games to verify...it's not a smple as..."i've seen this kid play so sign him..."

you need to be badged up first and foremost....and then just approach the clubs...most clubs look for scouts "out of their capture area" especially for academy level players....

    what BS

    http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/i-didnt-even-see-videos-of-bebe-admits-ferguson-2055202.html

and that was a 7m buy.

the only reason the united academy is ahead is beacuse

    1) they spend big on brining in youngsters
    2) they loan there best reserve players out to premier league teams to see if they can cut it.

thats why you now have players like welbeck and cleverly getting there chance, sometimes like gibson it doesent work, but at least he was given the chance.

seriously, we lose the guy that brought in coleman and all you can say is dont worry other scouts will send us their rejects.
