    My dad is religious, and he cant accept why i have far too many questions for him with regards religion, he thinks we should just accept. But at the same side of the coin, i have lots of his traits in me, which is what i were more pointing out than the religion thing tbh. And as much as i might not like to admit it, im very much like him and thats the point Idi was making, its hard when your parents are your role main role model to make a break from what their life style is because for most, that would be deemed as the norm to copy what their parents/guardians do etc.
