It tastes just like beef hence why people are using it.

The steaks are sometimes better than beef and normally less fatty

I would if it'd been farmed for food. The stuff people pump into them for riding, I wouldn't want to eat them. Certain stuff should go on their passports when given but nobody bothers.

i would bet a fair wager that at some point in our lives weall have unknowingly eaten a bit of horse meat, (burgers, hotdogs)..i think its legal to eat horse meat in france, and frogs legs aside they normally have better taste in food than us!

It is not illegal to eat horses in the UK, just unfashionable. I can't see why. The creatures are rubbish, as far as I can make out. They do f. all. At least dogs bite burglars, and sniff out bombs in foreigners' luggage. Even so, I wonder what dogs are like? Do any supermarkets sell beefburgers made out of dogs? Maybe they go better in lasagne? This being rip-off Britain, they would only put dogs in the cheapest burgers- the sort bought in frozen multipacks by people who eat just to get fat, and refuse to go to work for the same reason. Ideally, these sorts would be slaughtered and fed to horses, for good people to eat.
