No Fellaini Clause

    Great news!

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2275457/Marouane-Fellaini-released-clause-denied.html#axzz2KELRfrp0

Seem to remember some obviously ropey claims about a clause in the past with people electing only to believe the worse of it.... while ignoring the contradictory nature of the report itself.

Supporting Everton is tough enough where buying and selling players are concerned.... without people assuming the worst.

SSN spending the best part of transfer deadline day building from "Fellaini definitely not going anywhere".... to Chelsea to bid for Fellaini... just to keep up viewing figures... doesn't help...

In fairness to them.... SSN have committed big time to transfer windows being exciting.... this last one needed some hype as it had little else.

No clause but he wants to leave asap!

Get £35 million for him and I will drive him there myself...

hate to say it but, agreed. 35 mill would come in nicely.

Thing is though his is unique in football. No one else offer his height strength and ability on the ball in holding mid or further forward. That should come at a premium, it did when we bought him.

Real Madrid have a lot of catching up to do next season... and no spending cap regulations to contend with.  Fellaini might well be someone they'd go for... imagine him and Bale in the same team.

It has to be said though.....factual news of there being no clause doesn't seem to be spread with anything like the same enthusiasm....the BBC's McNutly did a huge piece on it...Lawro claimed that he'd been told about the clause live on MotD...... and now it turns out to be **** the biggest story on the BBC about Everton is Barnsley hoping to get Stones back on loan....

Now that Sky have educated me.....its clear that this interview is really bad news for us, and clearly Fellaini has just handed in a transfer request....thank you Sky for setting me straight....

He's pretty much said all the right things for me. I just hope we can get Champions League to keep him at the end of the season as he sounds like he'd rather have success with us than any other team.
