Sambo, didn't have you down as a common man, if you define that by your earnings/accumulated wealth then you should have tried harder at school. There is no harm in protecting the rich as long as they pass some of their wealth on to the little people like those I currently have landscaping my garden and drive. If they were to have been given wealth without having to work for it they would probably squander it on fags,plasma tv's and cheap booze. This way their income is controlled (by me) and they have at least for the next few weeks, employment and a steady income.
What happens to them after that, I couldn't give a flying f-ck !

HAHAHAHAHA :DI'm a pauper mate, but i work, 3 jobs, i didn't really get my head round the education thing, and nor i don't think i ever would......some people are just not suited to it, should they be punished for it? Or should there be other options there for those that are less academic? -

It will ever be thus.... until some sort of action group pays a decent hitman to take out a leading figure or two.
The chairman of Goldman Sachs for example. That might actually cause some sort of meaningful change.
I wouldn't condone it though. But if someone did take that route.... you can't really argue that there weren't enough warning signs

I'm not in agreement on that point. One does huge damage to the global community, the other is just a waster. However, for the greater good... why not... in for a pound in for a penny.

I recall reading this one, although she was cheating she was actually worse off than she should have been.
But does this mean that you condone cheating of the system if it is just a 'small' amount.....or put another way, at what figure would you determine that a 'drop in the ocean' becomes more than that?
People who make false insurance claims, crash for cash scams and the like....all the things that ensure people like you and me have to pay increased premiums....whether we are being screwed by the rich, poor or anyone inbetween, it's wrong! -

Well, I've read it through and taken into account the amount of times the words 'estimated figures' cropped up...and yes, the premis that more is lost through tax avoidance than benefit fraud makes perfect sense. The rich have obviously got more money to squirrel away, so avoiding paying tax on millions (for example) is bound to account for a bigger figure than somebody claiming false benefits.
I still maintain that both forms of fraud are wrong. One cannot make a case for saying the rich are more so simply because the amount of money is greater.
Earlier in this topic sambo mentioned the revolution idea...I don't know if you've read Animal Farm by Orwell but he had human nature spot on. Rich or poor, it makes no difference...we are all human and our true nature will always out.
