    I have to admit that I rag on Johnny to my peers when he makes any mistake whatsoever but we can not forget that he was absolutely vital for us last year and this year he will play his part (hopefully it's a positive leading role). I can't knock the man a week after dubbing him the cup hero, where's everyone's stance of loyalty? Look he makes mistakes, who doesn't? We would be playing another cup tie if it wasn't for him right now..

    Technically we would coz we would be playing a replay!
    I think the thing is... before last season he wasnt all that great, made mistakes, seemed to be in the paper talking a bit about moving on from Everton etc... i never warmed to him.. then he had without doubt a fantastic season... but he's having his worst season to dat for mistakes... he's just not good enough - 1 decent season doesnt make him a great player.

    He had a stinker Saturday, and made a horrible mistake against the Baggies as well. He's struggling a bit with confidence at the moment so needs to see the best fans in the world get behind him and not slag him off. He knows himself how bad he was on Saturday. But let's not forget that some of the current boo boys were pontificating about what a great player he was last season. He's in the squad and he's there at least 'til the end of the season, end of story. Come on Johnny let's have a couple of good performances now. Keep the chin up.
