How many new owners are just going to pay off 50million quids worth of debt out of their OWN pockets!??!?! UNLESS, they are mega rich like Chelsea or CIty's owners??

The RS, will be in the SH**E again if they dont start getting in the champions league cos their owners have taken the debt on not paid it off like you keep claiming.

there also brining in money through sponsorships  they are also looking to expand the brand in america and asia.  bringing in le bron james to advertise the club. increasing ticket prices ETC  small things like this that means they are continually growing.

they also now own 2 of the top sports teams in the world.  and drastically improved the red sox fortunes when they brought them a few years back.

They need to though dont they, cos they are 350million quid in debt! Liverpool always have and always will be a global brand, its not rocket science that lid, and if BK said right we are putting ticket prices up there would be another protest against him.......where as the RS seem more than happy to keeping forking out to pay off the clubs debt! WHY should we as fans have to delve deeper into our pockets to go watch our team b'cos the owners of the club (granted over the course of a few years with the rs) have kept on running up massive debts?? The word MUG springs to mind imo, but if they are happypaying to ge their club out of debt b'cos of poor management for years then they are welcome to do it!

there not in 350m debt you idiot.

They dont have any debt according to you ya noggin, that figure was as of february 2010, AND there is no way in the world that has been paid off in the last 20 months let me assure you of that 'oh great one'.

i dont think he is the man for the job, he seems to already be going into melt down for me ,

Off topic - It's funny coz I said the exact same thing to myself this morning listening to the radio and Daglish's interview after their game last night. The interviewer (rather patronisingly) tried to get Daglish to compliment Brighton's efforts and Daglish freaked out. Oh how I laughed!

I didnt slate your original post, i said i was open for you to explain the credentials of an interim board over the current board. As you havent given me any indication that you know who are on this interim board then how can i feel any confidence; that they are any more likely to sell the club for the betterment of Everton Football Club???

Don't bother yourself tickets, I've little inclination to read your childish drivel on this subject any further.

When some half witted egit on the interweb comes up with a bunch of half baked nonsense you really shouldn't be surprised when people slate it.

When multi-millionaires take decisions that have unfortunate consequences as time moves on there is little you can do about it.... unless you are a multi millionaire and can do something about it.

If not, no one cares what fantasy world you live in or what you would do if you have the chance...

People like Kenwright take important decisions every day... some of them get written about, some don't. But rarely does anyone looking in from the outside ever know the truth behind of any of them.

*Mainly due to him hiring Moyes admittedly, but it was this board that hired Moyes so the above is down to them.
*Once hired, Kenwright has backed Moyes in every way he can, not only letting him spend what he has sold for the last decade but also in breaking the wage limit to keep the players Moyes wanted to the point we now need to sell players because Moyes kept his favourites thanks to Bill and achieved the above results because of it.
*Kenwright got the respect of fans, other chairmen, managers and media with his way of working
*He stabilised a club that was spiralling out of control
*He has sold the players he needed to but kept the ones Moyes wanted to in order to stabilise us again this summer.
*Our turnover have quadroupled since he took charge
*Him and the board have basically changed us from a nothing team to one to be feared even if that was purely down to bringing in Moyes and giving him what they could in terms of wages.
I would take that over a manager with a little bit of money like Sunderland and Stoke who would employ a differnet manager and finish below the above positions time after time.

He does need to step aside and he has made mistakes but I don't get the hatred for the man and I would not expect much improvement from anyone who isn't a billionaire, the amount of available funding a 'business man' could squeeze out of this club without investing hundreds of millions is not even worth mentioning.

    Nice of you to say.

Not to sure what you mean about the one bedroomed flat in South Africa. I have heard about a one bedroomed flat in Manchester and some due diligence though.

If that is what you meant then, as posted in another thread on this subject, due diligence can mean different things in different situations. As Kenwright described it, he had the guys name checked out as soon as he got it from Keith Harris because he had a team of people doing that sort of work for his theatre operations already.

In short, it was discovered as quickly as it could have been (aside from Kieth Harris's mismanagement) and it certainly didn't get anywhere near to a situation that you could describe as 'nearly happened'

If you found that post informative, you might want to check out the other thread on the subject... will get it and edit this post with it.

Thanks for that, thought it was SA, but mixing up with the ICI thing. I also thought it was close; cause of the way Kenwright said it in the BU interview, "he smelt a rat". Will look forward to reading the other thread. Again i say top notch info, thanks.

If the only mantra that the BU supporters and sympathisers can think of is "Well it worked for the RS" in terms of any sensbile solution i'm glad that the march represents the highlight of their campaign. The BU don't own the copyright to wanting investment or a new responsible owner.

The BU don't hold the copryright to wanting more investment or new owners. But if they seriously believe that all we need to do is copy the RS interim Board "Because it worked for them" clearly don't have a clue about why it worked for them and why it won't work for us.
