    GAY men have voted Steven Gerrard the “hottest player” in the Premier League.

    The Liverpool and England midfielder topped the table in a poll conducted by Gaydar.co.uk, the UK’s largest online gay dating website.

    More than 4,200 users responded to the survey in which they were also asked to rank players in categories such as “best legs” and “worst haircuts”.

    Fernando Torres, who left Liverpool for Chelsea earlier this year, was in second place while another former team-mate, Peter Crouch, received only 2% of the vote, leaving him bottom of the list.

    Chelsea’s Frank Lampard had to settle for third place and Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas was named the fourth “hottest”.


    Wayne Rooney was identified as having the “worst hair”. The 25-year-old received 50% of the vote after opting to have a hair transplant.
