Posts: 305September 2011 I think he came with a lot of hype and a big fee just after Ashivin had arrived and scored 4 against the RS. He never got going and now gets stick before a ball is kicked which kills his confidence.
A lot of people feel he should be in the middle and from what I've seen of him he is better running at people and has a great shot. Tonights game would be the perfect chance to give him a shot.
If we had 1 up top with Drenthe, Coleman and billy (if he can produce in the middle) running at the defense backed up in the middle with Rodwell and Fallaini we might create more and still have Moyes favoured 451.
Will definitely offer a good variety with Osman and Cahill -
Posts: 3,273September 2011 Problem is, Moyes sees all 6 players ahead of defense as defenders too - especially in the middle of the park....and Bily isn't gonna put in the tackles in if he's in there!
I'd like to see him tried in there - but Moyes won't do it! -

He is slow, his first touch is not good enough and although he has a good shot, he has had a couple of games where he hasn't looked too bad, that does not make up for the rest of them where he has been shocking.
Unless he is going to be given an extended run in the centre we need to get rid imo. Fortunately, he is unlikely to spend much time as a left winger from now on due to the arrival of Drenthe. He is not a winger in the same way Ossy isn't isn't.
