What i would hate to see happen today with regards signings....

    The club to go out and buy some one just to appease the fans. For a number of reasons really....

    a) we could end up with a player that has no interest in doing anything but picking up a decent wage.

    b) we could end up with a player that could unbalance the team spirit as we have not scouted them thoroughly enough. 

    c) we could end up with a player that we spend reasonable money on, that we might not necessarily need, and the club do it just to make the fans happy.

























































    D) Some one that might replace Phil Neville :(

    I agree with you Sambo.....but some signings are no brainers.....Ofoe and Holtby for a start.....How can you not buy a German international for 1.5 mill?

    I know little about either mate, but, with regards Ofoe, there are hardly teams falling over themselves to buy him....and that's even after we put him in the limelight last August with a failed bid, you would have thought there would be plenty of teams keeping tabs on him after that happened.......makes you wonder why not......

    As for Holtby, maybe Moyes thought 55k a week was too much for a lad so young, how many of our 21 year olds are on coin like that? Fellaini only just become top earner at what 23/24.....maybe moyes' ethos, is too much too soon, is a bad thing?? You can see the likes of Coleman and even Anichebe now working harder and improving becasue they are maybe trying to work towards those REALLY BIG contracts?? Just a thought like....
