in the process of signing Yacouba Sylla for £2m... he's a midfielder who has made one appearance for France u21s...

They are going to either be a really good team in a few years... or fooked for a very long time...

Relegation dogfight... needing experience... and they sign another unproven youngster...

In the short term, they're _fooked anyway.

    Can't see them staying up!

I can't. So it must be a calculated gamble to get in young player who they think are good enough to get them out of the championship.

I dunno what makes them think that these high potential "youngsters" will stay with them if they're relegated if their potential is really that high.

I also don't buy this stuff that Villa have got players of very little experience. have have a couple, which is healthy. But the likes of Vlaar, El Ahmadi, Ireland, N'Zogbia, Guzan, Given, Holman, Bent and Agbonlahor are all in their late 20's or 30's and it is THESE gobshites that are letting the club down (OK, maybe not Guzan)!

Lotwon, Clarke, and Bannan are well in their 20's - around mid 20's - and internationals. Not exactly silly teenageers like!

If they could get Richard Dunne on the pitch, fully fit, it would make a big difference though!

Whenever I have seen Clark he's made basic mistakes. Ireland and N'Zgobia are just collecting wages.

The formation they play is wrong.  Lambert will not come good doing what he is doing.

Might as well throw in Reading and make it a treble.
