Lewis Holtby, would not have cost too much money. We could afford his wages... it would have been a dream move for him as an Everton fan. And yes, we'd have quiet enjoyed nicking him of Mr Levy's yids.
Came on last night when they were behind, for a team who have a lot of good midfield players, and changed the game with his creativity.
With Arteta gone and Gibson being the way he is, money burning a hole in our pocket... not going for him just seems mental to me.
Anyone know why we were so reluctant given that we been rumoured to have been interested in the past?

Posts: 909January 31 Don't know if we were ever interested... maybe agents trying to talk up a move to England... people putting two and two together (Everton fan)... and we don't know what his contract demands were but imagine he's on a good wage at Spurs...
From a purely business perspective Levy is good at securing players with resale value... -

55k so they say. £1.5 million after signing a pre-contract.
Oh well.... time will tell if it was a good/bad decision
