I thought Bily played well on saturday..

    apart from his very last pass that went astray (again) but i reckon he knew he was coming off by then !!

    Taut he did OK for 20-25 minutes against both Villa and Wigan and then lost interest, went missing

    once again i thought he looked like he didn't really want to be there......he's so low on confidence, every mistake eats away at him.
    Mind you, we rarely got men into the box for the first 65-70 mins, so for a winger that makes it hard. Once we Denis & Vellios up front, we had targets in their box....

    i thought he did ok right up to being taken off tbh...nice touch..good feet..made some things happen....

    strange how different people have different views on players..my m8 thought he was total shoite....until i pointed out this and that.. that he did..then it was a case of ..oh ye i remember that now...remmeber the run into the box in the first half ? the crosses he put in in the first half..the link up play with both baines and rodwell...even his movement off the ball was better !!

    was pretty quiet second half i thought, i knew he'd be the first player substituted....but again its hard for him to be creative when no-one is making smart runs into the box, or their no obvious big presence in there like a Vellios. I love Cahill, but when he plays upfront he loses the ability to make smart runs into the box.......and ossie has a pretty poor game IMO......

    ye i thought ossie would have been the first off....for barkeley...to play more inside...

    then i'd have pushed velios up front for bily.....
    as it turned out all irrelevant !!!

    WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Were you at the game?  90% of the people around me were shoutin for him to be subbed after 10 mins....  HE WAS SHOCKING!!!!  I put my hand on my heart and would rather have milky one the wing!

    i think he is the weak link in the team at the minute and i would replace him in the side with either berkley drenthe or vellios
    he doesnt work hard enough and quite frankly doesnt look interested in playing.
    i dont think he will ever be a good player for everton because i dont think he wants to be here anymore.

    ......i think he's still only playing about 50% of his ability.......or being played to 50% of his ability...he is deffo NOT a winger.....hard to crerate something up front when all we've got is 1 man against 4 defenders.....made theor defence look better than it was....thus evidenced when we put the 2 up front and gave them something to think about and do !! we actually scored 2 goals from that point !!!

    Yeah i dont think Wigan liked the aerial threat tbh, and i posted on another thread, hats off to Moyes, it was going stale 2nd half and he changed it jsut at the right ime for me, he gets slagged off when he doesnt make the right changes at the right times, but on sat, i thought he got it exactly spot on.

    yep agreed......was such a different game when we actually played with 2 forwards up front......couldn't understand why Moyes didn't change it earlier in the game....but game won, 3 points, happy days....

    In fairness, people are getting ready to shout that stuff the minute they see his name on the team sheet!
    It was the same with Osman 3 or 4 years ago!

    yes of course i was at the game..which is how i judged his game...and just because people are shouting to get him off doesn't mean he was that bad...as i said me mate was of the same opion as those around you....if he had of been that bad moyes would of taken him off at half time....he's not one of my favourite players tbh..however there is definatley something there..moyes needs to suss out hwta that is ..and utilise it more...

    yes.....i think he'll be a good player in another league with a new club (like when Pienaar came to us)...but this move just doesn't seem to be working out, and 6m would be great money to get back.......don't see anyone bidding 6m for him though...

    I guess the way he`s been utilized at Everton has lowered his value. We`ll probably take a loss similar to the one we had with Yak. Would love to see him in a central role, though. I believe we would see a whole new player after a good run of games. Artetas departure has opened a central position, though judging by the lates hype Rodwell is first in the pecking order.
