    Has anybody been playing the demo and actually grasped the physics of the game play yet?? Cos i'll be honest, as hard as i try and as much as i play it, i just aint getting this new defending lark and the computer A.I just seems to ridiculously high this year, so much so that i think its actually taking the enjoyment out of the game some what for this years version. Thoughts anyone??

    FIFA 12 is impossible this year, I cant win a game or keep a clean sheet on pro level and i usually play at world class level.

    In settings theres an option where you can choose legacy defending as opposed to the new tactical defending, so it plays more like last years.

    I'm the same mate, i can usually hold my own on most levels, but this year, i cant score and i keep giving silly goals away cos the defending feels all broken!

    I want to try and master the tactical defending because I don't think you can turn it off on the pro ranked matches so Im going to have to get used to losing repeatedly.

    I think it's been ok.

    As you'd expect with changes it is going to be more challenging than 11 after you've been playing it for a year. Whenever 11 came out last year I was thought it was **** but you just get used to it.

    Won't stop me from buying it on the 30th.

    In regards to the AI I can't comment as I only ever beat people online I don't play against the computer.

    tbh mate i just dont have time to be trying to master it, ive other games i like to play and learning to play fifa from scratch isnt for me!

    Imo, they have dropped a clanger this year, the tactical defending is asking too much of you to do at once, so the players end up out of position, and a slight miss press of the button and your defender is 10 yards out of position and they score. Ive found with it aswell, when your pressing the button to say want to just pull at soembodies shoulder etc, the button confuses itself and starts doing a foot tackle instead.

    Maybe im just not keen but its not for me at all. I dont understand why they are trying to fix something that isnt broken tbh with you. They would have been better trying to sort out the poor crossing and the bad set pieces set ups like corners etc and the **** penalty carrying on before tinkering around with the defending when all it needed was a button for pulling at the shoulder and jostling for a ball instead of making it feel like you have 10 'caspers' on the pitch who are just floating around like lost souls and not really doing what the should be doing.
